I recently picked up a Fuji disposable camera for a party.
After I developed the film, I was transported to a time that was not so long ago. Holding the printed photos in my hand threw me into another era in my life.
Personal nostalgia aside, FUJI film is fascinating. When comparing it to iPhone photography precision you notice how FUJI film deliver off color naturalness, dark shadows where there is not enough light, and a grain on the film that clearly says, well, it’s film!
Everything isn’t supposed to be optimized. Shots caught on FUJI disposable cameras remind me of that.
